I'm pretty pleased with myself at the moment as I seem to be on a good productivity streak. I'm lugging my laptop to work most days and instead of being bored and reading the same websites over and over on my lunch breaks I'm writing the script for my film. I'm only about four pages in at the moment but I did start over as I didn't like what I had done so far and I had got to eight pages then! I have rekindled my love for illustrating in Flash as I've been dong more bits and pieces in Pshop recently. In a couple of weeks I have two weeks off and as I can't afford to go on holiday I'm going to use the time to redo my website and generally be productive and look for animation jobs! That's the plan anyway!!

I've also watched some great films lately like 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' which I enjoyed, it's very epic but the ending wasn't as sad as I thought it was going to be. Mostly because I was thrown out of the illusion when they just used another actor for when he is a child instead of all the clever effects they used to make him look like a little old man. I was expecting to see him done in the same way but it just threw me off so I wasn't as upset when it got to the end! It's very different to David Fincher's other works but still very enjoyable and has a very easy to follow story that really draws you in.

I also regularly watch 'Bite Jacker' [link] which is a internet video show about indie games and every week they have a collection of three for you to play and vote on. A little while back they showed a game called Post I.T. which blew me away, not in terms of the game play but how it has been made. The graphics are done in stop motion using only post it notes and I just can't get my head around how it's been done. Very unique and clever and I urge everyone to go have a look cause the person who made it deserves a lot of praise for the ingenuity of the idea. Go download it from here [link]
